Marketing/Sales Representatives...

This is your opportunity to shine. We are looking to fill 3 Marketing/Sales Representative positions at Oregon SportsNet and to work on our new partnership with the Golf Channel Am Tour in Portland. The main portion of your position will be evangelizing Oregon and SW Washington about our website and the great events that the Golf Channel will be putting on this year. In addition, while your out pounding the pavement, playing some golf, tweeting, making phone calls and emails we also would like you to be seeking out and working with local companies to be sponsors.

Requirements: 
4 year College Degree (Marketing, Business, Management Preferred) 
Proficient in MS Office Suite 
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 
Previous Marketing and/or Sales Experience (5 years+ Preferred) 
Previous Golf Event Experience 
Work Independently on a Deadline 
Valid Driver's License 
Laptop

Golf Channel Marketing Intership...

Oregon SportsNet is looking for interns to help promote our new contract with the Golf Channel. Interns will be responsible for helping promote the Golf Channel on a local level. In addition, interns will have the ability to write, take pictures and take video for our comprehensive sports site, OregonSports.Net. This is a commission only paid internship. However, there will be many additional perks and the possibility of employment following the internship. Perks are, but not limited to, credentialed access to sporting events, a professional portfolio with all works contributed to you on the website. Interns may also be able to earn college credit. Speak to your Career Center staff to find out more about earning credit. Oregon SportsNet will cooperate in any way needed to assist with student receiving college credit, if applicable.

About Oregon SportsNet: We are a comprehensive website covering all sports played by Oregon athletes, schools, teams and organizations from around the state. We have been operating since 2007 and currently are the 3rd most viewed sports site in Oregon with over 1.7million hits per month. Our site is a collection of articles, pictures and videos ranging from baseball to wrestling and everything in between, and at all levels too. Our motto is “All Oregon Sports – All the Time”. Our company is growing rapidly and will soon be adding sites to cover other states, but we need your help to make that happen.

Intern Expectations: Interns of Oregon SportsNet will be expected to spend 10-20 hours per week completing work for the website. Interns will have a meeting once a week with our Senior Operating Member, Christopher Zoucha, to discuss assignments, the progress of the interns work, and any other topical issues. As an intern with Oregon SportsNet you will be asked to provide a minimum of two articles, picture galleries or videos a week that will be featured on the website. You also will be our ear for the sports happenings around your area. If you hear about something and you want to cover it, then lets get it on our site!

Writers – Photographers – Videographers WANTED

Internship Description:

However, there will be many perks and the possibility of employment following the internship.
